Objectives

  To focus on the application and deployment of knowledge-based technologies for systems engineering and management problems which involve substantial industrial participation

  To establish a laboratory which fosters collaboration between faculty members in areas of common interest in knowledge systems research

  To perform basic research in key scientific areas of knowledge engineering for supporting applications development
