Dr. Wang joined the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as a visiting scholar recently for his sabbatical leave from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, where he holds an appointment of Associate Professor and Director, Nanyang Executive MBA program. Besides these appointments, Dr. Wang teaches at the Hamburg School of Logistics, Technological University of Hamburg, Germany, as a visiting professor and has held positions at the University of NewBrunswick and McMaster Univeristy in Canada.

Dr. Wang's research interest lies in two main areas: supply chain/logistics management and health care management. The former focuses on the development of mechanisms and policies to coordinate production/inventory and other activities at different supply chain members when they are separate and independent economic agents. The latter focuses on the development of methodologies to measure the outcomes of and evaluate different health care programs. His work has appeared in many prestigious international journals and received a high citation of more than 400. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Canadian Journal of Administrative Science.

Dr. Wang has designed and taught many courses at levels of undergraduate, masters, Ph.D. and executive development programs. He is the founding coordinator of the Ph.D. Program in Operations Management at Nanyang Business School and has advised many Ph.D., Masters, and undergraduate students. He has also provided consulting services to many companies in Singapore and China.
