Biography

Yiping Ke received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from  the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 2008, and the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Fudan University, China, in 2003.

She is currently a visiting scholar in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was a research assistant professor in the same department from Sept. 2008 to Sept. 2010.

Research Interests

Data mining, database and information systems, particularly in graph mining, correlation mining, association mining, text mining, stream mining, Web usage mining, large-scale data management and analysis, with applications in financial analysis, marketing, social network analysis, and bioinformatics.
